10 I believe that was the sentiment back in 08 when reviewing by laws before
11 adoption.

13 There are no responsibilities, liabilities, or any burden from foundation
14 membership. If you are not interested it is essentially meaningless to you. At
15 worst you do not vote. But there really is nothing bad about automatic
16 membership even for those who have no interest.

18 There was a really big discussion on membership in 08 during the by laws
19 review. I have many more emails than show in the archive sadly. I am pretty
20 sure someone expressed that very same thus not having automatic inclusion.
