I believe that was the sentiment back in 08 when reviewing by laws before |

adoption. |

There are no responsibilities, liabilities, or any burden from foundation |

membership. If you are not interested it is essentially meaningless to you. At |

worst you do not vote. But there really is nothing bad about automatic |

membership even for those who have no interest. |

There was a really big discussion on membership in 08 during the by laws |

review. I have many more emails than show in the archive sadly. I am pretty |

sure someone expressed that very same thus not having automatic inclusion. |
