I really don't see the point of this. Yes, there are a few messages on |

our mailing lists that some of us don't want to see. But as long as |

we're not drowning in in a tsunami of spam that practically DOSes our |

infrastructure, I think we're better of letting the *readers* take care |

of filtering. |

All MUAs I've used so far provide filtering tools to enact policies |

such as "ignore all mails by <user>", or even "ignore all threads |

started by <user>" without too much effort. Why do you think this isn't |

IMHO, if there's one problem with our MLs we should strive to solve, |

it's the unfortunate tendency of technial discussions devolving into |

huge bikeshedding contests that achieve nothing other than making |

everyone angry. |
