6 Remember that Gentoo is not a versioned OS. 2007.0 and 2008.0 are just
7 live cd's. You can keep updating a Gentoo machine indefinitely forever,
8 so there is no concept of "my machine is running 2008.0" because my
9 machine is as updated as the last time that I synced and ran emerge
10 --update --deep world. Make sense?
