First, make sure you have emerged the kernel's sources. |

Second, check that the newer sources have been selected: 'eselect kernel |

list' followed by 'eselect kernel set'. |

Build the kernel, either using genkernel or make triumvirate (make |

Install the new kernel in /boot. |
