8 Not sure if it is remotely related to your problem, but I've noticed something
9 similar happening when I was using a Netgear DG834 router and happened to
10 start up a box with a gigabit ethernet card (everything else was 10T-100).
11 While the gigabit card was negotiating speeds with the router everything else
12 was unable to use the network. That could last for up to a minute or so.
13 When I changed router the problem went away.
