1 Autohide seems to work fine here.
2 Do you have the feature activated, that lets you change desktop when the
3 mouse hits the borders? If I activate that and have configured the Virtual
4 Desktop applet to show 4 desktops in two rows I get the described effect:
5 Hitting any of the four edges won't show the panel but change the desktop,
6 the mouse jumps to the opposite side.
