Unfortunately, no joy, I started xinit and I have in my /root |

directory a .xinitrc which says |

exec dbus-launch --exit-with-session gnome-session |

but all I got was a message on the text console which said waiting for |

the server to shut down, so we have a server problem as well, |

apparently. |
