Slowly but surely we're approaching the next steps.

We had some discussions with a few Gentoo e.V. people regarding the
potential alignment of trademark usage across the Gentoo Foundation and
Gentoo e.V. Due to time and resource constraints, we're not going to wait
for this although we both agree that eventually better alignment would be
good for the community.

That being said, the Gentoo Foundation would like to go forward with the
renewed trademark document, whose draft is currently at the following
location:

The small changes since the last (more than a year ago) draft is that we're
a bit more clear about potential logo modifications that are allowed (and
more specifically, not allowed) as well as the state for using the Gentoo
name or logo for things like overlays and other projects benefiting the
community as a whole.

I'd like to publish this new trademark use document by May 1st (well, around
that period - don't pin me on the exact date/hour) to replace the current
one, documented at
https://www.gentoo.org/inside-gentoo/foundation/name-logo-guidelines.html

If you are aware of any blocking issues, I'm all ears. For improvements, I'm
of course all ears as well, although I might first publish before improve
(we're all agile nowadays aren't we ;-)
