24 If I can give you an advice: don't create a "new" livecd from scratch.
25 Take an Ubuntu, Knoppix or similar live cd, just add these three files
26 in a /gentoo directory, and re-release it xerox, with just the three
27 files added and a Gentoo logo somewhere.

29 This is what open source is for: stand on the shoulders of giants. Don't
30 reinvent the wheel. Ubuntu and Knoppix are extremly widely used and well
31 tested live cds, designed to support an impressive range of hardware.

34 thinking about what obsolete ISA card you want to support. Use ready
35 made live cds. They're shiny gifts of the OSS community, just like
